This series of oil-based, linocut prints entitled “Inner Passages To Flight” are snapshots of dreamscapes. They represent frozen moments of lucid states of sleep where the dreamer can direct the actions of the dream to effect a favorable outcome both in the dream world and in waking reality. The staircases, ladders, windows, and endless corridors are symbols of discovery, remembrance, and evolving awareness. They reoccur in the work, just as the themes of dreams recycle themselves, continually altered, and sometimes hidden in a new scenario.
